Suitable for everyone, these walk-in classes provide a comprehensive introduction to meditation, offering guidance at all levels for developing and deepening your meditation practice. Learn meditations to relax body and mind, find inner peace, achieve mental clarity, and develop a kind and compassionate attitude towards others.

Each class includes teaching, guided meditation and an opportunity to ask questions. These classes are based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s new book, How to Transform Your Life, and are the perfect way to establish a daily meditation practice.

Although taught as a series with CLASS TITLES BELOW, each class is self-contained and can be attended individually.

Spiritual Practice for Everyone

Buddha’s teachings are extremely practical and are suited for everyone!  They’re scientific methods for ameliorating our human nature and increasing our wisdom.  In this series we’ll investigate our real situation and learn how to train in concentration, moral discipline and wisdom.

Overcoming Anxiety

Some people just seem to roll with the punches, while others are tormented by crippling anxiety at the merest glimpse of potential trouble.

What is the secret of keeping it together in the face of adversity? How do we rid ourselves of anxiety and connect with a more peaceful, balanced part of ourself?
Meditation helps us become familiar with naturally happy and strong states of mind. Furthermore, Buddhist wisdom can teach us to exchange our own burden of problems and worry for compassion and a sense of connection to others. By practising these techniques we don’t just learn to cope, but we continue to thrive and grow, no matter what life hurls our way.
