Half Day Retreat on How to improve mental clarity & focus
About the Retreat
Our mind is largely distracted and unclear. We are not able to stay focused on our object of meditation for very long, and it is not easy to return to it when we forget it. If we want to improve the quality of our meditation, we definitely need to improve our mental clarity and concentration. By learning how to train our mind in the proper methods, and then putting those techniques into practice consistently and joyfully, the quality of our meditations will definitely improve.
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful, we will be free from worries and emotional discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness. But if our mind is disturbed, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions.
In this 3-session retreat, we will practise developing a feeling of inner peace through virtuous concentration. We can then learn how to maintain this peaceful mind throughout the day, so that the experience of joy in our lives will not be so fleeting and unreliable.
Everyone Welcome, no previous meditation experience is required.
