About the Course
Everyone experiences the pain associated with craving and attachment, and many people suffer from some type of addiction. Whether we struggle with food, drugs, social media, relationships or any form of addictive behaviour, this workshop will consist of talks and guided meditations designed to help participants gain insight into the pervasive and painful mental habits of craving, attachment and addiction to help transform them into the path of spiritual development.
About the Teacher
Kelsang Rigden is an ordained teacher of Modern Buddhism. She was requested by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche to teach at Kadampa Meditation Center in Winnipeg. Ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2004, Kelsang Rigden has been teaching Buddhism and meditation in Canada, the US, and Barbados for over 16 years.
