• Deepen the power of your meditation, concentration & wisdom
        • Overcome bad habits of mind and establish good ones
        • See your own potential and become the person you wish to be

This rare weekend retreat is held in ideal, peaceful conditions at St. Benedict’s Monastery Retreat & Conference Centre on the Red River. We will be learning meditation methods to transform how we respond to our world – how we think, act and speak. This will give us strength to be more patient and helpful, allowing us to be a positive influence in all our relationships and any situations we find ourselves in daily life.

We will explore the transformative meditation sequence that enables us to make spiritual progress through meditations that open our heart and guide us to our pure potential.

Gen Rigden will lead the meditations and share teachings from the newly published book, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and from   Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life by Shantideva, the well loved Buddhist Meditation Master of the 8th Century.

This retreat is suitable for all levels – those new to meditation and those who wish to deepen their experience.

You may come for the whole weekend and stay overnight in shared or single accommodations or sign up for a day or two.  All meals, refreshments and retreat fees will be included in the prices so you can enjoy the surroundings and not worry about a thing! A unique opportunity to make the May Long Weekend very meaningful.
