About this Course

On this half day course you will discover how to train your mind to have a happy anxiety-free life. Meditation is an effective way to deal with negative states of mind and create a sense of peace and mental freedom. By accepting our painful feelings rather than being panicked by them, we can keep a calm mind in all situations.

Each session will include guided meditation, a talk and a chance for Q & A.

Registration 12:30 – 1:00pm
Part One 1:00 – 2:15pm
Break 2:15 – 2:45pm
Part Two 2:45 – 4pm

About the Teacher

Kelsang Rigden was ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2004. She has taught Buddhism and modern meditation for the last 17 years in Canada, the USA and the Caribbean. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy the precious Dharma of Modern Buddhism with such an experienced practitioner.
