About the Retreat
In today’s fast-paced life our mind is often very busy and distracted. This can be exhausting, stressful and robs us of our mental space and clarity. During this retreat, we will experience relaxing guided meditations and learn how to develop inner stillness. By training our mind through meditation and mindfulness we tap into our natural capacity for peace so we are more inspired and confident to practice meditation in our daily life. To deepen the experience of retreat we will observe silence each morning until lunch.
About the Teacher
Gen Kelsang Rigden is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Winnipeg. Gen Rigden, ordained in 2004, has been studying and teaching Modern Kadampa Buddhism internationally for over 16 years.
