Suitable for everyone, these walk-in classes offer simple, practical methods to improve the quality of our lives and develop inner peace. These classes focus on using Buddhist understanding to help us solve our daily problems, let go of negative minds and find the lasting happiness we seek.

Each class includes teaching, guided meditation and an opportunity to ask questions. Although taught as a series (see Class Titles below), each class is self-contained and can be attended individually.

LETTING GO & MOVING ON

The New Year is a good time to let go of the bad memories and habits we have developed over the past year, clearing the way for a more positive year ahead. Find out how on this course, a perfect preparation for a positive and forward-looking New Year. Through training in mindfulness and meditation we can illuminate the real source of pain and difficulty within our minds and finally release it completely, leaving us with a tremendous feeling of relief and joy.

HABITS FOR HAPPY PEOPLE

It’s easy to miss out on fully enjoying our life, through worrying about the past or a future that may never happen. We may want to make changes in our life, but our anxieties stop us from moving forward. Each week during this series, Rigden will introduce us to meditations and practices for daily life, that will empower us to effect the change we want.

We often say, “my mind, my mind”, but do we really know what we’re talking about when we say this?  Learn more about the nature of the mind, and it’s power to shape our experiences through the practice of meditation. Each week during this series, Rigden will introduce us to meditations and practices for daily life, that will empower us to effect the change we want.
